Computer Drawing of Enthalphy-Humidity Charts

Abstract

Enthalpy-humidity charts for a gas-vapour mixture still provide a fast easy tool for use in process calculations in drying, solvent recovery and related processes. They have to be individually constructed for each new system encountered. the computer graphplotting method provides a fast and reliable way of enthalpy-humidity chart production. Theoretical principles of computerized i-Y chart plotting are provided. Exemplary chart for systems of nitrogen and benzene, n-heptane, and cyclohexane are given.
