Abstract

Carbon monoxide increases the activity of catalysts composed of tungsten and molybdenum halide complexes and EtAlCl2 for the disproportionation of olefins. Hexacarbonyls as final products and halo carbonyls as intermediates were isolated from the reaction mixtures.
