Abstract

Single enzyme complex nanoparticles were synthesized following the method of Kim et al. The enzyme complex used was cellulosome that is a large spatial association of enzymes. Single enzyme nanoparticle of celluclast BG cellulase enzyme complex (SEN-CK) can degrade as great substrates as natural cellulose. It was proved that the stability of SEN-CK enzyme complex is significantly better than that of native enzyme complex (enzyme without pretreatment). Significant portion of the activity of SEN-CK is remaining at 80 °C for 1 hour time.
